You have installed UOS inside your C:\Program Files (x86) directory. Install into the C:\Games directory or run UOS as Administrator.

Your autoloot config is written to Profiles\Default.xml between the <autoloot> and </autoloot> tags. (inside the UO Steam directory)
Check (with notepad) if that area of your file is malformed. Also check the macros above, using some weird UTF8-characters there can break the XML. When UOS reads the ...

This happened before when Windows swapped the MS Visual C++ runtimes with 64-bit versions. UO and Steam are 32-bit software. (This is only one possible reason)

First try running UOS in compatibility mode. If that doesn't work, delete the following files:
c:\Windows\SysWOW64\msvcp100.dll
c:\Windows ...

I can help out with an EasyUO one only. If you only want to clean ONE chest per run you have to replace the line that says "goto start" with "halt"
