Re: Sin's Items for Sale
Also have a Jackal's Collar for 1.2m and Apprentice Stockings (GoC boots) for 3.5m. Taking offers, especially on the steal-able items because I rarely see them for sale.

[UOSteam] Basic BOD Sorter
I've been working on trying to get some scripts up and running to make the gathering and sorting of Bulk Order Deeds easier. Still having some challenges with getting the BODS, but I have a working script to sort BODs of all the different types into different books. I found it useful to have for my ...

Re: Questions About Human Bios
Hey Wil,
I figured that for number 2 that was the reason. A good leveled weapon with multiple spell hits plus the regular swing damage will likely average more than casting alone. Even with SDI boosted, it probably still is better to have a non-caster.

Re: Questions About Human Bios
And while I'm also thinking about it, I saw it mentioned that bios do a power attack (not sure which one(s)) that is similar to whirlwind. Does this proc any hit spells when it goes off?
And, does weapon type matter? As in, can they perform the weapon specials for the equipped weapon?

Questions About Human Bios
I've checked out the Bioengineering section of the Wiki and searched older posts on the forums about the topic of bios. There's a lot of great info about how to use them, make them, and even some solid suggestions for gearing them up. However, there seems to be gaps of information in some areas. Spe...

Re: [EASYUO] Stealable Artifact Hunter
Solid script PaPa, thank you. I modified it to just show the mistvale/ilsh/fel stealables that I could find IDs for, and pop it on when I go in there. It calls all the same item type, but hey, it's a step in the right direction for identifying the difficult to find items.

Re: Best Single Target Weapon
Isn't this whole argument moot? Spell damage outweighs the damage from the wep. That s why yumi is hands down, far and away, stop all your testing, the best (non auction deeded) weapon. I find it amusing people are even talking about other weps for single damage. Yumi has decent base dmg, but most ...

Re: Best Single Target Weapon
Captain Jack's cutlass probably is the highest base damage (I can't think of anything higher) but lacking a double hit special probably hurts its overall damage output. Some day if I happen to get one, I'd like to put it to the test. I'd bet its lightning strike damage is significant on critical hits!

Re: Best Single Target Weapon
Also very good to know! So the lumberjack bonus isn't worthless, but it's hard to get something comparable to the yumi even with the extra damage bonus?Eless wrote:There is no 300% or 400% damage increase cap here. Only 100% cap on DI from gear.

Re: Best Single Target Weapon
How did you arrive at those numbers? Both a Yumi and an Ornate Axe have a base damage of 18-20. That's a good catch Moulke. The calculator on that site has the yumi base damage listed as 13-17. That actually helps narrow down the options! The numbers came from what I could put in, 120 anat/tactics/...

Re: Best Single Target Weapon
I hadn't even considered how the lumberjack bonus factors into the damage calculation. If it's a part of the 300% total, then does it provide any benefit if your already at the 300% cap? Is this also true for Strength? I thought you would always benefit from having higher strength to do more damage.

Best Single Target Weapon
Hi everyone. As the topic states, I'm trying to figure out what is the optimal weapon type to use for a single target. I see a lot of people sporting Yumis or Double Axes but I''m curious if there isn't something better out there (not counting the change weapon specials). Looking at the DPS chart on...
