It is neither hard nor expensive to raise your skills, seems how there is no skill cap. The skill set you choose is entirely up to you, considering you can max every skill you have. There really isn't a "best" skill out there, it's all just a matter of personal liking and opinion. As far as money goes, you will be able to obtain an item called "organic" that looks like a brown ball of yarn. They drop off giant rats in the new player dungeon. These organics sell for 150g per organic, so they're worth quite a bit. Once we get you all set up and logged in, I'll be sure to offer you a helping hand in-game.
