Mining Etiquette

If I walk into a mining area, and someone is there, standing around completely AFK, is it rude to start mining? I mined for about 20-30 minutes in mook town before the guy even said anything, and the first and only word said to me was "dick".

you can start to mine - it isnt a privat mine - the mine is for all players - and the mine is big enougth

go and mine - and dont see some "spezial" players

there are supposed to be no AFK resource gathering anymore... you should notify a Gm is there is one on

I'm pretty certain the guy was just afk and standing there, not actually mining. When he came back he saw Canto mining and called him a dick, I believe.

Yeah, he was standing next to the forge for 20-30 minutes, not mining or doing anything. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't doing anything wrong.
