I've never played UO before, but I'm looking for great adventure. A friend of mine played on paying servers years ago, and he always showed me much of his character and housing. I was playing Final Fantasy XI when it was new at the time lol. Anyway I am new to UO and excited about joining, i will try to use Bokmog as a character name so if you see me say hello. Thank you!

Hey Bokmog, welcome to the shard, I'm sure you will find happiness here at Excelsior 
Just ask a question on forums or over [c if you get stuck, There are plenty of people here willing to help answer and guide you.
You have choosen your first UO shard right, I can tell you now there is no other way to experience UO then the Excelsior way bokmog!
