Titan Hammer on EDs stone?

I see Titan Hammer's are always going to be a problem to buy (as many many people want them). the going rate right now is 200 EDs. I"m offering right now 250+ EDs and will consider going higher when i hear other people buying them at a higher rate. I fear that if i start buying them at 400 EDs people are going to start getting mad. I talked to Colibri once and asked him about another item, and he said he doesn't give out in game items for eds, but if people wanted to they could go as high as 1k EDs (if the player wanted to). I just see this bringing discord to the shard, and it would just be easier to put those extreme rare items on the EDs stone. anyone else has any input on it? I understand that some people will say it will bring the price down on the titan hammer or if everyone could buy it from the stone what use would it be to steal it. I have to say not everyone can get EDs, and this allows them to get them too. You see it's really the person with the most money that gets those types of items leaving the people who can't afford it to feel left out.

idk seems like a great idea in theory, but when you get down to it the next thing ya know someone would want a totem on the and another unique majick item and or say pet? where would it stop? I say how about beside it being stealable howabout also making the item be craftable!=]

If you can do it craftable, you will have only 3sp for leveling. Looted item have 5 sp per level.
But if someone script "looted deed" it can be possible
"looted deed" will give attribute to your item as looted item.

It is possible for scripters ?

Personally I don't see the big fuss over the hammer. Guess it depends on how your gear is set up. Thats cool of you anarchy worrying about causing discord but if ya can afford it, and it appears to be a rare then go for it. So the only way to acquire the hammer is to steal it? Does it not drop as a major arti too?

I think to get a few more rare items into the game Coli can selectively put them in the raffle in Trinsic. At least one Titan's was available so far. This makes it more fair instead of the wealthiest players getting the items, it is a matter of luck. The wealthiest can buy more tickets, which helps the shard by reducing the overall amount of money in players hands, but having the most tickets does not guarantee success.

There are probably a few other very rare items that can be put into the game in this way. I thought Coli should have have a raffle for a deed for one +5 piece of crafting gear of the player's choice. I one year of trying, I've only gotten one +5 crafting gear piece so far.

still ends up as the wealthiest getting such items. for example, waiting for the announcement as to who won and pming him with an offer too good to refuse; plus, the person also increase's his chance by entering into the raffle too.

titan hammer is an artie drop 1 time in month +-10 days (12 per year). still ends up that the wealthiest gets the prize. if i offered 1k EDs per titan hammer; i don't know too many people that would say no to that (2 pets slots/ 2 re layers). endless ways to spend 1k EDs.
then i would lock the price in at 1k eds (maybe) or i would purchase the next year or so. I do not want to lock this out as i think everyone should have a chance to get it. (don't get mad i won't offer that much for it)

reason why titan hammer's are so sought after: 15 str and it's a weapon that can be leveled and re layered. Sprite of the totem (20 str) can not be leveled so your stuck with what it has to offer.

another difference between totem and titan. totems you can get more than 1 time a month by going to doom gauntlet. titan only 1 a month. that's a good idea how about changing totem of the spirit to once a month drop?

nope once a month spawn. i don't know maybe i won't buy any for awhile to make sure other people have a chance at it. ah well thanks for the input.

I agree with this. EDs should be used for items that are unobtainable normally. Although I think doing raffles for them on occasion would be just fine. (and I am pretty sure all the 'yes' votes are the ultra rich people trying to buy them )

people use eds to buy things normally obtainable anyways. bio', gold, and so forth. it would be the same thing giving to Colibri as giving them to people, plus the 1 time a month titan hammer would be available to other people. By not putting them on a stone you make it unavailable to the normal players.

ok same for all items? how about organics? monster loot? i'm all for that idea!! seriously no selling of GoCs, imprisoned. woot would be awesome. everything gotten is account static. love the idea please keep them coming. of course this means people who can't get GoCs would really be hurting, or people selling organics would stay poor. The young players who can't kill Lady Mel won't be able to get imprisoned, and won't be able to move ahead really.

I do not have a titan hammer nor do I want one as there are much more impressive weapons out there and way cheaper as well. I understand the allure as I myself like to collect rare things.If people want to spend bucket loads of ED's to get everything then let them I guess as its free will. After awhile they will get so bored and leave the game as they can just get anything they want off a payment stone. I like surprises and adventuring/wandering/discovering, cause without that why even play then? Rare weapons and Armor do not belong on payment stones,it will take away some of the magic this game still has.

brother wolf the allure of the titan hammer isn't to be used as a weapon but to be re layered into something else. that's why people want them so badly.

I wasnt offended in anyway so no worries The relayering thing facinates me alot and I have thought about it once and made a 100 dollar donation for the ED's to do that but ended up spending them on the tons of other crazy stuff ya can get with ED's. I think for me anyway 500 ED's to relayer an item is just a tad high.

Well said Brother Wolf. If we just buy our way through the game then what the point. lately it seems everything is revolving around the ED. If it something one wants bad enough and it hard to get they start talking put it on the stones. I cant speak for everyone but for me playing here is more about Evolving. The evolution of my character, his status, how to get cash, making him bigger and stronger. How fun would it be if I just flipped out a few bucks and said heck with it. Then the game has lost the mystery, the excitement, the "Hey any one got an arti." running in a big circle till were dizzy. As well as the thrill of showing what you got, kinda like bagging that big buck.

So rather than just throwing things on the stone go have some fun and give your self a reason to PLAAAY the game. EVOLVE to what you want and stop REVOLVING around ED and stones.

However to play devils advocate..
Rather than putting it on a regular stone I would say, make the ability to buy it rare. Such as putting it on a special map. Excuse me if i don't know what the actually name is of the map. its hard for me to get on so when I do get a chance it like a whole new shard at times. that way there is a chance to purchase it but rare rather than having it readily available.
