High Strangeness!

Post by Brotherwolf »

Ok both my kids are in college now and hardly ever play but some weekends when they come home one of my sons some might remember or see him here or there. His character is Annihilus.his char has some very odd things goin on. He calls me over and shows his character. I look and he's just wearing a shirt and pants using a kryss with a goofy mohawk. Thing is hes on an ethereal kirin. armed with a bow and has a helmet and hive robe on but none of that shows up. Also he puts on a two handed mace weapon still looks like a one handed kryss. Tries two other ethereal non horse steeds and they all still look like an ethereal horse! Very high strangeness! Anyone ever seen or heard of this issue?

Microsoft answer: It isn't a bug, it's a feature.

On the serious side, never heard of anything like that.. did you try reinstalling? You do have the +Coli's version of the client?
Failure is not an option, it's a standard.

Well I had him log on my home pc when he was home and then on his mom's pc and his account is fine so it seems these awesome laptops I got for him and his bro before they left for college with the latest and greatest nvidia chip and windows 7 seem to be the issue. Maybe its a 64bit OS thing?

Cant be a 64bit thing, I'm running windows 7 64bit perfectly fine (well not perfect, but in regards to UO its perfect)

this is indeed highly strange, perhaps some corrupt character files?

hope it gets sorted.

Take care.
