this might clear up some air about champs.
could we please get a test done +V if time permits (this may have to be more than 1 staffer testing). i think he would have to initialize a whole spawn; blast it with volcanic eruption, then when champ comes up the other staffer kills the champ. if +V gets a PS then we know it's all around damage throughout the spawn. any chance for this test to be done?

oops just saw the champ spawns in wiki is this correct?
If you did any damage to the champ you will receive Powerscrolls (amount is dependent upon how many people defeated the champ) in your backpack.

as faR as i know, it is. I have gotten frozen by a bio just as the champ has started to run... because he ran offscreen, even though I did enough damage, I got no scroll... I believ e you have to damage the champ, and also be on screen when he drops.
That's just my one theory though

there is a 15-17 tile rule that you have to be in range to get a ps. it's because some people were saying druids were gods and i had to point out that no matter how many summoned monsters you kill; it doesn't mean your gonna get a ps if you don't damage the champ. I just didn't know if this information on the wiki is correct.

I know scroll distribution rules are different here however are scroll rights (who gets a chance at a scroll) the same as on OSI?
If they are different then never mind I have nothing to add.
If they are the same then it only matters who does damage to the CHAMP, otherwise I would not have gotten thousands of powerscrolls from raiding champ spawns. Doesn't matter that most of the players who started the champ were dead as if they did damage to the champ the scroll would be deposited on their corpse.
Like I said if scroll chance rights are different please disregard. However judging from all the misinformation about other game mechanics I'd say that question will be debated. Perhaps an admin can comment on that part.
