Tell me I'm not the only one that experiences this! I have over 120 Taming with jewelry and I find it ten times harder to tame a swamp dragon, then I do a Fire Steed, Nightmare, Noble, or any other high level tamable critter. And a swamp dragon takes forever to just begin?
tribecca, i would submit this is because they are a one slot mount, very strong even from the jump, and the fact that anyone, with no taming, can ride them. so it it likely difficult to kind of keep a balance, ya know?
always for God
I remember on the OSI shards having to macro the taming start so that it could hold down the key and do dozens of start attempts in a couple of seconds before one would finally successfully start. Then, if they were beat down, we could slowly walk along, me staying just ahead of the swampy while the taming cycle ran to end. But, it may be worse here because I was never 120 in both taming and lore on the OSI shards and I could tame a swampy in two to three taming cycles usually.
Count your blessings, at least a swampie has such low damage numbers if it hits you it rarely does much damage. I mean as I remember they have very low numbers 3 or 17 for min damage and 5 of 25 max damage or something like that. So it could be a lot worse. Try getting hit one time by a white wyrm )
Ack! Natural Sunlight. I must flee to my coffin!!!
I do all the time... white wyrms tend to hit me when I ask them if they are a boy or a girl.. but yeah.. swampies at least they won't kill ya... fire wyrm.. well thats another story..
