You think this is crazy?

I was wondering if the staff will make an event where we join a side (e.g. Team +Chaos or Team +Veritas).

Then we are either in a town or island and we battle until either team is crushed....

No crazy armour only what team leader wants to give us and some bandies (stolen from Loki's pvp idea).

I know... i know... sounds like it has been done before... but oh well I am at work and bored

hehe, this is something I was mulling over for a possible series of events, but what I had in mind was more of a tournament with each participating staffer having a team of players they would put out and see who won =) It's still on my list for possible future events

Sort of... but I don't know why every time I think of this event I am leaning more over " Gangs of New York " style of fight.... red team vs blue team... can you imagine if we start whirlwinding around players?? Throwing egg bombs?? No magic.... all fist fights + some limited weps (daggers, hachet, clubs...) It would be like boxing day morning or black friday at the mall!!! It will also be cool to steal the bandies off the opponents corpse...

And it will be a good opportunity to jump the vets

Been years since I've pvped in any form. I would definately be in for this. And what if I wanted my opponents bandies before I made them see grey? Sometimes it's fun to see the panic in their eyes when they reach for a bandage that is no longer there. Or the spam of "An Nox" as they try to twist a spell that requires a lil bit of the garlic that I just knicked from their pack. (Can you tell what my main profession used to be?) Ahhh the days of uo when every player didn't possess every skill known to man

I just know that I wouldn't want to be against you But yeah... it will be kind of fun and it will be even crazier if they give us like 10 mins to go ballistic.... no rules no griefs....

Do we have a "Capture the Flag" type of event here ?
I used to play on a shard where we had a game like this called CLOAK WARS, the red team had to capture the blue teams cloak and vice versa, you went in to a pre made play area with just a robe, nothing else, there were various types of resources in the team houses and a team player would make armour and weapons then out you go hunting the other teams cloak. Teams were chosen automatically as you entered the gate.

It was awesome.

I think this is good for an event, but i think they should code it so we have Factions, like Chaos etc etc, and you can join a faction as a single or a guild faction, Then if it worked the Events would be these teams automatic of what faction you should join.

Yes we have CTF event here at EX.... but in the event that I am talking about it is just plain bloodshed.... nothing to capture no taking of prisoners... and if you don't like pvp'ing you do not have to participate or make a seating area for players to watch and if they like it they can join in the future. It is just for the players that are bored or just want to try something for a change. I hope this helps for inspiration for future events....

In a shard I used to play we did the gladiator kind of event... players pay a entry fee (goes towards the prize) and advanced in like 8 battles and whoever was the last man standing get the 1mill gold prize (1st prize) and a engrave item declaring him/her the gladiator for that month. The runner up got 750K (2nd prize).

Keep the ideas coming....! Lets inspire the ol'mighty staff of UOEX!

stealing is disabled against other players.
easyuo script that takes cloth off key and cuts it up for me. it's set for 5k but i'll change it to like 500 bandies per time. plus, my bow has paralyze on it. good luck stealing.
i miss pvp, and so i've been playing lately on a pvp shard. lots of fun with plenty of old guildies from long ago. i still play here because well... i love this shard.

also....i wanna be on +Hina's team or +Nyx.
