Goc item maybe? dont know

I seen a guy with a goc item dont know what of. But he relayed it into a bow of some sorts. I was wondering what that was. Also after doing this can you buy and use a level wep deed and add it to this piece this person add?

first i don't think you can turn armor into a weapon. not yet at least. you see when you re layer an item it stays that type of item. for example if you re layered an axe into a cloak you could use that cloak to do lumberjacking (still an axe). so i doubt it was a goc item that was re layered into a weapon. then again i could be wrong maybe a gm would know if this is possible. (would love to level a sot).
