iam not sure that i understand all words from the beehive guide out of the wiki and harmbringers beehive guide so i have to ask you. this is my beehive UI from today. what do i have to do ?
is it right to put an GP into the 1st, and GC into the 2nd, an GP and a GC in the 3rd and a GC in the 4th ?
The potion you will need is the one that is next to the - sign but yes you are right, just remember the potion icon across from the - if u have then in your pack you can just click the button right across from it
I was also wondering about the beehives. In particular, I would like to know whether the yellow + next to the plants and water icons was a bad thing. Should I try to get it to a green plus, and if so, is there a general ratio of beehives-to-plants/water that I should follow? Thanks!

You should read the beehive guide from HarmBringer.
You can find two books of him on the roof of the Youth Center.
The yellow + only means that your bees found food and water. they need it.
if the colony gets bigger the range increased so the bees can fly to an plant or an keg of water that is not placed on the top of the behive.
in harmbringers guide you can read that you can manage a lot of beehives with only 1 keg of water and 1 plant. not 1/1 per beehive, i mean 1/1 for all beehives together. the + only shows you that they found water and food. i hope this information is 100% right ^^ thats what i think i understand with my poor english ^^
actually after doing months of tests i've found out that hives will require 7 plants and 3 water pitchers. also, bee's share resources. here's a picture of my hive set up.
oh yeah they are also 44 days old. so not really that old for now. notice no + next to the plants and water.
I'd like to clarify that the 3/7 requirement is for 100k hives. Smaller hives need less. Also, the distance to the resources is tied to the size - at 100k the flowers and pitchers can be up to 14 squares away (if i recall correctly). Even is someone else's house.
yes Ilsanor 14 spuares and in harmbringer guide i could read that bees .....hmm my bad englisch egain ^^.....äähm ok i try it at another way. if you have an house with more than 1 floor you can place the water and the flowers in for example the 1st floor and the bees on the roof. bees dont know Z only Y. ahhh damn i cant find the right word but its written in Harmbringer guide.
i have an question. i placed my four beehives all at the same time. the last 3 days they all show me the same days. but now today one off them is one day older than the other three. ok nice they still producing now with 10k population but its a little bit strangely for me. is this normal ? maybee an little bug ?
I did not see this answered so I will add this. I noticed on the original pictures that there were 2 agility potions added. It is not cost affective to add 2 agility until the hives are thriving. Those hives were still in the brooding stage. At that stage, just tend to the cure and poison demands.
Cool! With this new information it's time to rearrange the bees since they all died recently. In another note, now that changes were made to beehives and the after products is it still viable? Not that it is my butter and bread in game but it was time consuming caring for them... specially now that you might need to pour more potions to it

You don't need to pour more potions on it. The amount of potions used stays the same, you just have to distribute the potion. It's like a point a dot-'n-click game now.

in the wiki you can read " Next step is maintaining the hives. You will have to use potions on each hive every day to maintain production/proper hive health. When your hives first start out, you will ALWAYS give them 2 Strength (White) and 2 Agility (Blue) pots. This will speed up growth and help the bees grow quicker. " maybe i missunderstood it but after i placed the hives i put 2 str and 2 agi inside. maybe the wiki is wrong or iam an bad translater ^^
