Runic Tinker Tools Question

New player here, couldn't find any info in the wiki, stratics, or through Google.

What can you do with a Runic Tinker Tool? Craft custom jewelry? Are the properties enhanced based on the materials you use?

Runic tinker kits lets you craft jewlery with magical properties. The intensities and number of the magical attributes are based on the runic kit used. A platinum runic tinker tool is the best one to use and a dull copper would be the weakest one. Under tha magical jewlery section, you will find jewels such as ecru citrin rings, wich requires rare gems (such as ecru citrine), but adds more magical properties over the ones given by the runic tinkering tool. I don't beleive that the type of materiel gives anything else than the color.

Tinker tools really only get used to make magic jewelery. The kind of ingots you use do not have any effect other than the color of the jewlery. You can either craft normal jewelery, which just require ingots and normal gems (diamonds, rubies, emeralds, etc), or you can craft the magic jewelery which use the rare gems (blue diamond, perfect emerald, dark sapphire, etc). The rare gem jewelery gets the normal random stats from the runic tool you use (as does the normal jewelery), and in addition they get some other stats that are semi-random. Like the dark sapphire bracelet will add 5 hp, 5 mana, or 5 stamina randomly, and some other stats I don't really remember. You can technically get better jewelery using the rare gems, but they are expensive, require 10 of the rare gems each combine, and some of the bonus stats they can add are pretty useless (I think blue diamond ring is a pretty worthless one if I remember). I tried for ages to craft an 8 dex/strength dark sapphire bracelet with the bonus stat of 5hp, but had no luck. Most people just use platinum runic tinker kits and craft the normal jewelery, but if you have a bunch of rare gems you can use them and hope to get lucky.
