I was contemplating playing a bit and still am. I just wanted to share my thoughts and maybe get some input.
The reason im still thinking about it is flat out I enjoy crafting and flowers. I'm not about riches only even though that is a large part of uo. I have over half a suit of relayers with a 3 plot connected house built by my friend sethra. Dramoor did most of my relayer leveling.
I know this is poorly constructed but the crafting system seems a little lacking because relayers trump them. Quest items trump crafted equipment, and more. Crafted equipment, decoration, and flowers seem pointless. The part of uo I love the most. I'm not a hunter when it boils down to it and to be honest I would rather drop potions and water in a flower and craft a suit of armor or maybe a blade for adventurers to adventure off with and cut down foes for coin to purchase more equipment. Maybe to even afford some potions to help their attributes and coat their weapons with a lethal injection of poison !
This is what I enjoy but I feel like its lacking a bit. Treasure hunting was fun for a week........ maybe im missing something to the game. social aspect is fun. trolling cornbread or trolling with is fun. chatting with friends like sethra and such is fun. what else..... is there? =o champs easy and boring
