Magic Weapons Questions

Hola, me again.

So my next adventure is going to be asking about Magic Weapons. I cannot seem to find much information on them, and being that i stopped playing the orginal UO a week after AoS came out, im not familiar with them...at all.

So aside from the obvious, like the damage properties and stuff, what im wondering is what weapons I should be keeping and / or selling? Also, can you craft magical weapons/armor? And are "Artifact" weapons and armor strictly boss drops? or are they random drops?

Weapons and Armor can be crafted with random magical properties by using a Runic Tool. (Runic Smithy Hammer for weapons and armor, Runic Fletcher's Kit for Bows, and Runic Tinker Tools for Jewerly.)

Artifacts are often random drops. Some Artifacts only drop off a certain Boss, and other drop off any boss in a certain area. Examples of both would be: Batwings (+Dex Sandals) only drop (at random) when you kill Netopir in Sanctuary. Crimson Cincture drops off Travesty or Dreadhorn. Other Artifacts such as Jackel's Collar or Spirit of the Totem can drop off any Boss in the Doom Gauntlet.


EDIT-

Tokono Artifacts can drop off any creature in Tokono. (Though I do believe the stronger the creature, the higher chance of a drop is.)

Some of these 'drops' will appear directly in your pack. (Such is the case with Tokono Artifacts, and Doom Gauntlet Artifacts. Other have to be looted from the Boss's corpse (Such is the case with Crimson Cincture.)
