Why are the sea serpents not biting

I have at the moment 105 fishing and have not seen a single sea serpent since I hit 100 fishing. I`m sailing along the server line east of Moonglow in Trammel. I was hoping for some advice from you guys perhaps I`m fishing in the wrong place or do I have to fish in Felluca please help.

Oh good news i just pulled my first serpent. I found that I was fishing to near my boat. While on the topic is it better fishing in felluca?

you are fishing in the right place ... make sure its in deep sea.

Thanks for the reply.I found that I had fished to near the boat. Soon as I started fishing further away from the boat the serps started to bite, so its all good
