Hi
I am aware there have been a plethora of topics on bushido for this shard after trying to search for my answer but am fruitless so far. The question I have is if your shield slot is in use with a relayered item that is not a shield whilst you wield a 1 handed weapon/relayered 2 handed weapon, does the item in the shield slot have a negative effect when you have bushido trained up?
Basically whether the equation takes into account an item that is a shield, or is it anything that occupies the "shield"/left hand slot
Cheers

Re: Bushido and relayering
im not sure exactly but id say it shouldnt nerf the dmg and the weapon if 2 handed should help with bushido since 2 handed weapons are used for parry as well in case of bushido id think it would only affect the shield slot if it was a shield.

I had the same question.
If you relayer something onto a lantern or a torch, do either of those affect parry skill, or bushiso skill?
I'd hate to be penalized for having that relayer. like the penalty in having bushido skill and holding a shield.
Or does holding a lantern act the same way as holding a one handed weapon and no shield?
