Hello everyone!
Excited to start this shard and downloading as we speak. Love older style rpgs particularly of the mmorpg genre.
Hoping some of the community could direct me on where to get started and what i should work on first of all as i am a UO virgin ha!
Looking forward to catching you all in game.
Many Thanks in advanced

Hiya, and welcome to the very best shard on earth* !

You'll wanna take a bit of time to browse the new player section of our wiki, I can't stress enough how valuable the wiki is or how much return on investment you'll get for any time you spend reading it: http://www.uoex.net/wiki/Main_Page
When you log in for the first time, you'll be in Town Center, which is sorta our custom mini-town. There will be several oval-shaped fanciful colored gates near you. Single click on these to find out a bit about where they lead. The rest circles on the ground are world teleporters that will take you to all sorts of cool places across the shard. You'll especially want to step onto one, click "custom" on the left near the bottom, and then visit our "training room". In the training room, there's a yellow-orange gate to the newbie dungeon that has a quest you can do for some gold and sellable items.
Beyond that, you'll probably want to just check things out yourself, read up on the wiki, and ask question in world chat when necessary ([c for world chat).
Hope that helps
