I hope everyone posts their screenshots! I just dug through mine and picked out some of the best. To those that missed it, you missed a lot of fun! Can't wait for our next event! (Check forums in the coming weeks for info on how you can be a part of helping to host our next event!!!)

So I have one more costume to show you but I have to give the back story... The Fall Festival we held today is not something I thought up on a whim (I'm not that good *LOL*). Many years ago, I played on Great Lakes server. We, as a shard, held a Fall Festival there hosted by a Seer, who herded us all to do what we needed to make the day a success! On Great Lakes, I had a rather large guild that had their hand in a lot of different things, including several events that festival day. I needed to be able to glance at the fairgrounds and see where my guild was though (I micro-managed bad back then! *LOL*). And so the day of the festival, I handed each guild member a bright orange robe and an even brighter green hat (I am so glad they loved me... haha). It was a success! I knew where each of my guild guys were! Unfortunately, the jokers in my guild decided they would have fun with it.... and publicly announced that I was now "Neve, the Great Pumpkin Princess" The name stuck and now over 10 years later, some of them still call me that (Well, that and "Mom" but that's a story for another day).

Fast forward to here... One of my original founding members of SWP (named Silent Wolf Pride originally on Great Lakes) is now playing with us here on Excelsior. Imagine my surprise, when he showed up in costume as a guild member from that long ago day when I made them all wear bright orange robes and bright green hats!

Yay!! You posted paperdolls! My laptop died right after the contest and it didn't save my screen capture of everyone's costumes. *sniff* They were all so creative and fun. Eye-candy galore, seeing everyone that way! Great tower! What gifts!

Glad you caught sight of Shrek We were... detained. First, there was this petite king and spanish cat! And then when we arrived at the festival, with Dragon and Donkey, they said we had to leave our mounts at the gate! Mounts! We were almost at the line but then a guard noticed he was an... ogre... and, well, Princess Fiona



was permitted to pass but Shrek was thrown for a dungeon tour with a chicken. Meanwhile, someone slipped me a vial marked "stage fright" and I hid under a tree with a starving artist. Shrek miraculously ran up out of nowhere just as Thor's rippled abs and chiseled biceps electrified the winners round. Although, I had already voted my voltage to Nikojandro at first arc. ∩

Yay! Thanks for posting Fiona!! I did miss you! I happened to catch Shrek on the run. hah! Honestly though, I was so excited for all the creative costumes I saw! (And I proved my husband wrong who dislikes UO and had told me "No one would be able to create any "meaningful" costumes with what choices in clothes there are in the game!" Ha!)
