Total Insurance Deed.
5 item bag of holding (coin purse)
Patch Graphic Deed for the RoS
I liked the idea of an any age 0 slot mount and some sort of lrc item as long as they stayed account bound.
Maybe 6 month lease on one of the unused higher end apartments.

Mt. Sho Castle is awesome but so expensive that it's nearly always empty.

I love the idea of blessed tools for new players. So often, I hear "I know you gave me that ax, but I died and lost it"... even after I've explained insurance... Also, how about 1 or 2 skillballs and power scrolls? I know skillballs can be account bound (or at least character bound) since they start with one. I also like the idea of bless deeds.

I do have one other odd idea (yah me... odd idea... nothing new *LOL*). While I know most of us would love to come and at least watch the auction, that may not be the best for the young players actually bidding. I've seen younger players leave when they see some players arrive, thinking that they will never be able to out-bid the older player. (and since some players don't read, they wont understand that older players can't bid). So is there a way you can make the auction only available to attend by young players? :D The rest of us will just have to find something else to do *LOL*

Yes, that's actually easier than letting you guys attend but not bid. I suppose older players could stand in the forest behind the auction room, or in the game show room to the west, but I don't think that the text would show up in those areas lol

@ Wil, Mt Sho Castle was actually exactly what I had in mind.

@ Culichi, Yeah its been sold twice at auctions to my knowledge both times it was used as deco. Noobs would actually get a lot more use out of this kind of thing than the vets that buy it.

I'm under 30 days old here and excited about this! I'd love to bid on some deco items!

interesting..i think youll still run into the same problem if you include up to 180 days old (that category includes myself). admittedly, however, im not really interested in deco (aside from them fireflies, those were pretty snazzy)

either way here's what i'd be interested in:

normal-ish items
  • full spellbooks
  • filled runebooks (resources, animals, vendors, etc, etc)
  • filled virtue of sacrifice (or 1/2/3 month maxxed)
  • bulk bandages
  • pet packages - 4x max hp scorpions, hellhounds, imps, etc + bonding deeds
  • bulk kirins/unicorns
  • max hp mounts + bonding deed
  • very high use tools + leashes + dyes/tubs
  • modestly filled rings/tool houses
  • temporary beehive blessing [10-50 days] (reduces or eliminates failed productions on all hives within a 2 range tile of application)
  • bee starter kit
  • BOD sets
  • no weight quiver
  • skill balls
high-end-ish items
  • ED
  • luck deeds
  • temporary account luck bonus
  • +backpack/bank item/weight deeds
  • pet packages - 4x mules/nobles/imps (unointed), etc
  • bonus pet slot deed
  • +stat deeds
  • no arrow usage deed
  • bags of holding
  • personal world teleporter
  • deed for a backpack to be attached to any mount (normal mount - > pack mount)
  • rental house/apartment time
  • equipment bless package deed
  • DEX equipment
  • highly desired mistvale items - reaper/cloak/sash
  • mistvale stealables
the high end list may seem too high end, and i wouldn't disagree. here're my proposed solutions (if possible):
  • make them temporary - IE the bonus pet deed or bag of holding. 400ed +...if possible, make these items expire in 1/2/3 months.
  • make them replicas - IE reaper of souls or DEX eq (batwings/pugs, etc)...if possible, add a "replica"/"refurbished" tag to the item which highly reduces durability and slightly reduces non DEX stats. if a tag is not possible, maybe create a weapon manually and add stats as you see fit & name it "replica of ____"

An 18x18 houseplot would be awesome.. it's hard to find an empty spot. And bulk resources for craft training is always nice.. and of course bless deedss and self repair 5 deeds . Oh yeah and those lil Staff statues lol.. love those!

Some things I think would be worth while for a new/younger player to spend on at an auction would be:

Account bound Bag of Sending with unlimited uses (possibly with a time duration) you could do several type 2 weeks, 1 month, 2 months, 3 months etc. so they are differing values to players.

I don't know how plausible this is but, a deed to add 50% spell to a wep, again for a duration
and you can have different spells a person may want 50% lightning, and another might jump on for a 50% mana leech etc

A temporary item with relayer like stats, basically like mistvale item on steroids for a time period

Permanent +1,5,10, maybe higher, strength and dex deeds, as a new player the one stat per 15 mins can be a hold back and adding 10 is like saving 150minutes of macroing something.

a pre-copied of rune books for a rune library, something like a set of dungeon books, or mining books, or a set of books of places the staff think are cool, yet under utilized

And speaking of under utilized areas, possibly a thing for new players to bid on where the winner gets choose on a type of event held at a place where events usually aren't (heres looking at you pool party) this could be broken up where one winner gets to pick the place the event is held and another winner (different from the first) gets to choose the type of event it is. The staff could limit the options some. That would be a pretty sweet prize, and possibly a third winner could work with staff to come up with a participation prize.

A title for your character

A set of universal dye tubs

+20 skill balls

120 PS

possibly a unique graphic GoC item (like the chest item changed into plate or whatever) or the shield into a torch.

Plat hammers, tink tools, petrified fletch kit, ethereal sewing kit with extra uses

tools (regular) with 60k uses

bulk resources

A cool thing I think, is to have a thing where players can bid to have a building named after themselves. This could extend to regular auctions too, where eventually players could have their names on buildings all over. Like a tailors shop in Skara could be named (Valorian's Tailor Shop) or something. Kind of as a way to immortalize yourself in the game. This could possibly be tied to your account where if you quit its on the same timer as your house, so if your house decays the name on the shop decays and becomes available for naming again (Though of the number of buildings, I don't see running out happening soon)
*also awesome if when you won the "rights" to name the building you could get a little statue inside of yourself

A temporary druid book ( a newer players can try it out and see if they really like it and eventually purchase a real one)

bonus weight/ items to your pack, I know as a younger player it always irked me to not be able to carry as much as I wished.

Thats all I can think of that I think would be cool, I know somethings just aren't realistic, but thought maybe I would mention them anyways.

As a new player I applaud this idea and love the fact that it's being implemented (although I prolly wont be able to go, as I've got a family event just around that time).

But...There are new players and then there are new players...When you're close to 6 months on a shard, you can basically roll any of the players who're younger than a month, so maybe host more events, some for even younger players as well, so you don't have to compete with people who do 'real' champions (and thus make so much more money) when you can barely survive the newbie one yourself..?

Anyway, love the idea!!

What I would bid on (oh and account bound only pls):
Skillballs, +60 would be epic but possibly a little OP, so maybe some +20
Blessed tools of all kinds
Anything which cost ED as I have no chance to buy that stuff yet but specifically more room and weight in packs
115-120 PS
Bless and self repair deeds
