couldn't have an npc run into the noobie champ battle and hit the boss for 1/2 of his hitpoints and leave?

Kronus and Tokuno champs have a good balance of toughness of champ and easy to difficult spawns. Oaks spawns are quite challenging too.
Maybe what we have on the shard is a range of champ spawns that are suited to various levels of players and to me that is a good thing. I like using my aoe wep on the spawns and having to change to a non aoe wep at the more difficult levels.
While players using druid spells drive me nuts at times I have become resigned to them. I could use them myself but choose not to as I like to loot my kills and they do not effect what ps drops i may get. Same with pets. I rarely use them at champs but will if only a few players are tackling the boss.
The young player MOA issue is tricky. Perhaps extending the age limit by a few weeks could help in this case. Could be worth testing out for a period of time to see how it goes.

I agree that we do have champs of varying difficulty...I remember running into a Kronus spawn with my 'invincible' mule army only to find myself dead and dead and dead...Same thing happened last week, when we couldn't keep a bio alive on him, I think everyone there died 5-7 times before he went down...
Oaks too, had my first time there this week, ran in with my trusty BoD and quickly found myself fleeing running for my life and returning with a bow instead...
I do agree that extending the age on the newbie spawn might help out a bit...Often it's a case of 1-2 players without a horde of mules doing waves 1-3 and then starting to get stuck, as there isn't anyone online to help with the last waves and/or they have no chance without pets on a champ that one-shots them...There are often players available to help, but unable to do so...The pool of players under 21 days is simply too small sometimes, either because of the time of day (if you'r ein EU it can be a problem) or because we just don't have enough young players that particular week...

Not just weapons, but shields and helmets. Or even does massive durability hits players gear.
Lol, set all the champs up so their lowest resist is physical, then give them high RPD's

Confusion. Makes you hit a random person involved in the combat, friendlies too.
Give one a WW attack with LL and ML.
If you're going to make some of the champs real nasty, age limits.
On the MoA's.
An upper one.
Have a monster spawn that dispels tree's.
Special attack causes slow the mana recovery thing, ala recalling out of fel.
More than 2 types of mob per spawn would be nice. Might not make it harder, but it would look better.
Random chance of 2 champs spawning, or 3. Not the expected ones either.
Random chance of spawning a Flesh Eating Dragon instead of the champ.
Random chance of spawning +R who whacks everybody with his hammer.
Why do I get the feeling that I'm giving +V ideas for Touria champ spawns?
