New to Excelsior
Hello everyone! Im returning to UO after about 8 years!! Im currently downloading the client and hope to see you all in game soon! I dont recall seeing anything in the rules pertaining to naming your character. So curious if there is anything not allowed or does it have to be roleplayish? Some of my old toons in the original UO was Fizzle, Tektonic, Czarina, and Morgamil. Id love to be able to use one of those.

Hello and welcome! The name you pick has to be family-friendly, the names you wrote are all appripriate. It's not not required to be for roleplay - you'll find that we're not a rp- heavy shard.

Just remember this shard is HEAVILY modified... it is practically a whole new game... A lot to explore. Oh, don't forget to get taming up to max asap, you will want mules to assist you asap, dragons... not so much... lol

Make sure you also take a look at the new player guide and the 220 dex guide on the wiki. Those will give you a huge head start on this new shard. And some good goals to get started with. It's also helpful to read the Codex as well just too familiarize yourself with the rules
