The rules: Bring a newly-created character. How you spend your skills, stats, and skill ball is up to you. Same goes for your 1000gp – but you must spend it with NPCs. After that, you may only use weapons and armour that you looted with that character. You may use the character in successive crawls.
Don’t train your character and don’t get any more resources; you’ve got to work with what you start with. Don’t bring any pets unless you're a tamer, and then the pet has to be tamed out the wild with that character.
Expect a return to the glorious newbie days of dying lots, to embarrassingly easy mobs, and relying on wandering healers and the kindness of others to res you.
