Some players like me and others don't care for my playing style but I am honest and share with the community at times.
A few days ago I got a Bone Crusher that was a level 60 that still had the Arty tag on it, so I added a weapon type change deed to it and then realized that the points to that point had been spent with the arty tag which as you know means double the points have to be spent. It doesn't ruin the item since you can still get all the basic adds to it but it reduces the amount of things you can put on it.
So I put the item on my vendor for 325ED and in the description I put "points spent".
Here's a screenshot:

As any veteran player knows 325ED for a partially leveld BC with arty tag removed is not a standard price for such item. The value of a fresh BC is around 200ED, plus another 200ED for the deed, plus another 80ED value for the partial level. So the actual value of this item would be 50% higher than the price I listed it for.
I messaged a player if he was interested in a BC at 300ED and before I even had a chance to get his message this same player went on my vendor and bought it for 325ED.
Today I see that this player has put the item on his vendor with some foul remarks in the description (it has been reported).
See below:

This player didn't contact me after the fact or anything. He just got all upset and this is the end result.
The purpose of this post is to gather some feedback from other players about what took place.
Am I in the wrong in this situation because I wasn't specific about when the points were spent? Or is it the buyers responsibility to check the item first (especially since the price was so low) and make sure there's nothing wrong with it?
