For those of you who were not aware, the criteria I imposed on the writers were to keep it mostly family-friendly, at least 20 blue book pages long, within the realm of UO fantasy, and preferably relating to Excelsior. They all did a wonderful job in that regards. I encourage everyone of you to take some time and come visit my Library in Malas (accessible through the museum or Chrysanthe's Plant Museum or by just pm'ing me) and read these wonderful works.
I couldn't be more happier in how it turned out. I will do this again, probably in October, maybe in conjunction with my 13th Anniversary Milestone event.
One last thing, I want to thank my guest judges who I will be keeping anonymous. They helped make a difficult task a bit easier. Without them, I would still be pulling my hair out trying to decide. Yes...they were that close. An interesting note. I had 5 total judges. Each one picked a different story as the best. See what I mean about how tough it was? Okay, here we go.
