Advice on leveling Horselord

I am trying to level my first weapon Horselord. I started to add Dex so now have 8. I am thinking about adding mana leech first to help me as I always run out. Any advice on that and potentially what I should add from now until max lvl. The weapon is only level 8 right now. Thank you all.

Are you leveling to have a good weapon or leveling to relayer? If relayer, the wiki has a section which explains the attributes which should be on every relayer and will consume the first 50 or 60 levels. For a weapon, the approximate path is: mana leech and as many spell hits as you can get.
