IDOC Count?

If the auction runs late, we might postpone the start for about 15 minutes (so that there's a short break after the auction ends, and before the IDOC starts). There are houses of about 90 inactive players that will be dropping.
I'm about half way through running the shard and I've identified 167 IDOC houses from 131 characters. Wondering about the numbers. Will we have a bunch of IDOCs that don't drop like has happened before?

Well now I'm incredibly curious. Do some people somehow get off from their houses getting IDOC'd? Why?

Yep there's about 90 accounts, I'd guess about half of them have 1 house, while others have 2 or more.

In the previous IDOC event (or maybe it was the one before) there was a rule change about when house drop notifications are sent to owners. Originally there was only one house-drop notification sent to each player, ever. But there are cases when people get a reminder, then keep houses refreshed, and then years later forget about it - in which case, an notification is now also sent again (or multiple times, as long as there's there's a lot of time in between them).

So basically, those who receive an email and login to refresh the house, then forget about it - those houses still fall in one of the future IDOCs. But if a player keeps an account refreshed for a long time, but then forgets about it again, the reminder is sent again.

The confusion about why IDOC houses didn't fall, is because the house-dropping system used newer code (considering this re-notification rule), while the code that displays house status was still old. Some houses displayed "in danger of collapse" and then didn't fall.
