Sorry if this info can be found elsewhere ... can anyone recommend anything? Not a fan of automap. Looking for something like UOassist from the old days.

The game is basically unplayable without UO Steam. That does all your auto looting, simple macros, maps that show location of party members in real time, simple macros etc etc.

Then if you're a scripter easyUO or OpeneasyUO to write more complex macros.

I agree with our Friend Johnny, UOsteam is a very useful tool for non-scripters. It even has an option that writes a script recording your actions.

And it makes gameplay very much easier and enjoyable. It includes auto-heals, autoloots, autoscavenger (grab them arrows) and other functions.

If you are looking for an alternative to the auto map program, there is this one: http://www.ultimamapper.com/
It works pretty well and has some advanced features.
