Nobel prize for Auctions

Post by +Colibri »

Since auctions are a thing here (or well, currently aren't a thing), this definitely needs to be posted here.

Also gave me an idea to make auctions more interesting for non-winners. (but i'll first get the auctions going as they were, only then consider upgrades).

I'll take the winners curse, I'll try and be rational, I'll do anything!! Just let me bid! :lool:

I think I'm having auction withdrawal syndrome.... knowing my luck first auction in an age will be when I am unavailable.

i wanted to bump my old thread but i guess it was autolocked after too much time http://www.uoex.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=6415 so i'll post it here instead

i just dreamed there was an auction, but the stone was a bit buggy and sometimes it ended the bidding early. A feeding bucket sold for 300k. I couldn't bid because I accidentally withdrew my 9 figure savings from exex to the bank so I had to move checks from the bank to the exex box again, which took a long time because checks have 1 million max (I know the real system counts checks in the bank, but we aren't use real logic here). I was ready by the time the titan's hammer came, I bid 22 million, someone outbid me to 29 million and the glitchy system ended it before i could rebid. All sales final.

Don't worry, I'm not that hyped about game auctions. Dreams are merely a vessel for memory to reorganize real world experiences through the lens of other, sometimes and in this case less important means.
