Bio engeneering guide

Post by fingers »

I would like a detailed guide about Bio pets. I am working on the Environment vial. Been trying young skorp for its 1050 stam and 120 poisoning skill. 15000 organics later, i have jack... hum I have nothing and I am starting to be annoyed. The person helping me has 1330 luck and max tinkering skill and whatever other skill needed.

So questions here would be:
1. Are there certain monsters that will just continously break vials?
2. Is there a precise chart with diffuculty/success chance formula?

At present price of organics, I just spent the equivalent of 2 mil + for... air? Not good.

Edit: 25k of organics later, i have mimic vial and prowless... for mimic, i didnt want to fail and grabed baldrion's dna as suggested on theses boards.

Well Bio is a VERY expensive hobby. I know that personally i have blown through 30 vials just trying for one certin type of dna. I also know if you just want maxed Hits you can get away with under 30k organics total. As for Luck etc. I have over 1800 luck and still fail ALOT for maxed DNA. I also have all 120 skills. So just as an FYI if you want afully maxed pet with poisoning plan on wastine ALOT of organics. If you want a pet with just maxed Hits and rest just ok stats you can save ALOT.
If it is worth doing at all, it is worth doing well.

Luck does effect it. If it's a high stat monster count on breaking numerous vials, that's just what it takes.

There is a well written formula that has to be taken into consideration when trying to get a DNA sample from a monster.

I have studied and mastered this formula to a T. I know what monsters give the absolute best results and what monster don't. The ones that give the best results will usually have a 9% - 12% success chance of extracting their DNA.

There are some that you might think are strong and you might get their DNA easily but it might be the wrong type of DNA you want. It's all very complicated unless you are superb with numbers or you just have someone tell you the answers... kind of like a UO ACT in Monster Anatomy.
