Invisible creatures?

I have noticed that certain creatures (namely Irk, Guile, and yomatsu(sp?) priests) don't have a character animation for me. I can see my pet fighting them and I get fame, karma, and tokens, but there is no corpse to loot. Is this normal and I'm just missing something or may I be missing a file? Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

First thing to check would be your client version. I believe you may have an old, 4.0.x version, or even a 3.0.x. We require versions 5.0.x to see and play the game properly.
Have you downloaded the 600MB file from our frontpage?

I'm patched up to 5.0.0b(patch 19) right now and am going to try to patch it up a little higher. I think I did download the 600MB patch but I will have to look around.

Ok did some digging and thinking and I installed an old copy of UO gold. I'm now patched up to 5.0.5b (publish 44). A quick run through the mines showed a preist name on the upper left corner of my screen but running toward it found nothing. I will see if I can find Irk or Guile tonight after I get out of work.

Id suggest if you cant Do a full uninstall and download the fully prepatched client. Should solve your troubles.
