RBG Archery Contest!
RBG will be hosting an Archery Contest on February 18th at 21:00 shard time.
Registration will begin at 20:00 Shard Time and close at 21:00 Shard Time.
The Archery Contest will begin 15 minutes later.
Archery Contest entry fee is 10k.
A teleporter will be placed at the RBG Event Center, prior to the event.
The archery butte scores are all random! Everyone has an equal chance to win!
You will need a bow (even an NPC bow works!) and about 50 arrows.
You do not need a great bow or high skill levels to win, so come on out!
How to join in the fun -
Take the teleporter to RBG’s Event Center.
Buy a ticket from the NPC, at RBG’s Ticket Booth, for 10k. (one ticket per account)
Double click the ticket. This will add your name to the ticket.
Show your ticket to the RBG Ticket Checker. (just to verify your name did go onto the ticket)
Enter the Event Center and drop your ticket into the drop box on the counter.
Your name will be entered in our contestant’s list.
At the 21:00 world save, the vendor will no longer sell tickets.
Transportation from the RBG Event Center to the Archery Contest location, will be provided from 21:00 to 21:15.
The Contest!
Qualifying Rounds
First Round - All contestants will get 5 shots to try to reach a total of 20 points. All achieving 20 points or above will advance to the semifinals.
Those who did not advance to the semifinals move to the Second Round.
Second Round – Contestants will get 4 shots to try to reach a total of 20 points. All achieving 20 points or above will join the winners from round one for the semifinals.
Last Chance Qualifier Round - Anyone who did not advance will get one shot to score a bullseye to advance to the semifinals.
Semi Finals
First Round - All Semifinalists will get 5 shots to try to reach a total of 20 points. All achieving 20
points or above will advance to the Finals.
Those who did not advance to the Finals move to the Second Round.
Second Round – Semifinalists will get 4 shots to try to reach a total of 20 points. All achieving 20 points or above will join the winners from round one for the Finals.
Finals
Finalists get three shots – The top 3 highest scores win 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
place, respectively.
1st Place – Trophy as the Top Shot of Excelsior 2024 – and a special prize
2nd Place- Trophy and 200k
3rd Place- Trophy and 100k
All participants will receive a participation prize.
We will help find sponsorship for players 21 days or under, if requested.
