Material questions

Greetings all,

I have played UO on and off now for about 10 years so I'm fairly experienced, however I have a few questions about some of the newer items I have collected / need to collect. Any help would be appreciated.

1) What is Muculent and how is it used?
2) Where can I find Platinum 'Granite'
3) What can I do with these fungus's and twigs I find from gathering wood?
4) Where in Fel do Noble steeds spawn (I heard they were Fel only and there was a rumor that they spawn weekly although I'm skeptical about that one).

Hey Duncun,

I'll help answer the few questions that I know the answers to

1) What is Muculent (Spelling) and how is it used?

This is from UO Stratics:

General Information:
Muculent is a rare resource that can be found as loot on the body of Peerless monsters.

Used in the creation of:

* Rune Carving Knife (blacksmithing)
* Shard Thrasher (blacksmithing)
* Silvani's Feywood bow (bowcraft)
* Darkwood Chest (carpentry)
* Darkwood Gauntlets(carpentry)
* Song Woven Mantle (tailoring)

Ingredient used in making the above mentioned items.

2) Where can I find Platinum 'Granite'

You will randomly find platinum granite from platinum veins while mining. You will need at least 119 Mining to mine for platinum ores. I believe you will need 120 Mining and buy a mining for stone book from the Stone Crafter NPC in Gargoyle City to be able to start mining for granites. Also, don't forget to set your shovel (left click it once) to mine for ore and stone.
