I agree. Enough. +Rayne has said it very well in the first post and this last one.
I very much like see how people settle disputes and disagreements in a well mannered conversation, giving arguments, not just saying their right but also willing to see the other party's situation and agreeing to compromise.
What's wrong with these threads is that, I still don't know what exactly it's all about.
From what i can tell, some players were giving public opinions about LOE guild, their words may have been a bit crude... all of that was taken too seriously and then later blown out of proportion. Then the threads were a nice place for even more speculation to go on.
From what I have read and heard, this is just one speculation, a fear perhaps, that was passed along from one person to the other, it kept growing and growing.
All we have come to is that we have many posts that don't solve anything and that makes this shard look like not much of a hospitable place.
I need to remind everyone of the 3rd point in our rules.
3. Staff:
Our ranks go (lowest to highest): Counselor, Game Master, Seer, Administrator.
a. Respect other players and staffmembers at all times.
b. What staff say is to be taken seriously and without question.
c. If you cannot resolve a problem with one staff member, you may request to speak with a higher rank staff.
d. Should you not reach a resolution with any staff member, contact the Coordinating Administrator. The decision from them is final.
So basically, if you have a problem with what one staffmember does, you go to a higher rank. If not satisfied or you think that their decision is bad for the shard, you move up and up till you get to the Coordinating Admin which is currently me.
This can also be applied for players. First you can go to a counselor, and they will decide what to do. A counselor may either decide on their own (if it's a minor thing), or contact higher ranks, or tell you to contact higher ranks. If he/she decides on their own and you think it's a bad decision, you can go up the chain.
As for free speech, except for a few cuss words and a shard name that we blanked out, we haven't altered or prevented anyone from speaking.
Right now this has gone long enough and I'm making an end to this.
Should there be similar problems in the future, whoever posts about it, post in a constructive way. Post with the intention of improving the situation, so that good can come of it. There will no longer be a thread of this type because - in the future - we will either lock or delete the thread. If anyone wants a thread to last and succeed it's purpose, one should write it in a more mannered way.
As for this topic, do not open any more threads. We already have three threads on it and none of them did any good.

P.S.: I've been through the logs, and i think i have a pretty good idea of what has been going on. Of course I can't tell since it's all private and confidential, but i can say it's all a lot of speculation, rumors, fears, wild ideas... just a soap opera.
