Sorry for the long time for a reply, a bit hectic setting up travel plans, getting things sorted out here, working...blah blah complain complain :D

Anyway, my apologies, I did a very brief probably cryptic message prior to your post stating exactly what you are proposing. The next contest will be graded by the players, though of course that is to be decided once I actually get on and see how many hits the library is getting. Mainly I need to have at least 200 people that have visited the library in order to turn control over to the players (not a long shot compared to the old libraries hits). Basically this is on the assumption that at least 10 people will be participating, of those 10 at least half will tell (at least) one buddy to vote for them, plus less than half of the people visiting/knowing about the contest will vote themselves. A little complex thought from someone that over analyzes, but people are pretty predictable on certain things ^_^. If, however, I don't hit the 200 visitor mark I can still manage to get something setup it will just take some extra thought on my end (though suggestions are always welcome and will be discussed as soon as I can get a chance).

As far as the themed contest, I don't think that is a possibility. One of the issues I had from the contest was a lot of people not knowing how to write UO lore (either by messaging me saying exactly that or by my own deduction that will not be said here). Now this is a very generalized theme and yet many were excluded or handicapped because of it. If the contest gains enough support in the future, I may be swayed to make 'sub contests' (smaller prizes) with the different themes; but for now it would be unfair to those unable to write multiple genres. On that note though, I will say from time to time (MUCH less now, due to work) I host themed events where I actively host rather than passively. Some of them have included basic hide and seek games, a trading vessel game (basically the players have to find the dock I am landing at based on the one I was previously at), and a save the stranded man game (going on a remote island, dropping a picture on the forum and giving prizes to the person who finds me first). If themed events are your bag, then keep an eye out, I usually announce about 15-20 minutes before I start one (announcing over global chat, that is).

Anyway, I am flapping my lips too much (again ><). Thanks for the feedback bud, if you have anymore just drop it here or PM me and I will reply as soon as I get a moment of respite.
