Looking for clarity on house drop timeframe

In the Excelsior Daily thread (
http://www.uoex.net/forum/viewtopic.php ... &start=240) it says houses will stay up for 1/3 the amount of time logged in. However in the codex (
http://uoex.net/codex/accounting) it says houses will stay up for 1/2 the time you have been logged in. So is it 1/3 or 1/2 the time?
As a follow up, is it play time with the character that owns the house or the total account play time?
Thank you

I believe it the excelsior daily post is the newest, so I think it's 1/3. I'll mention it to +C so he can clarify the codex/post.
It's total play time across the account, not specific to a character.

I've increased the time from 1/3 to 1/2, meaning that now it's 3 months that you can be inactive before your houses drop. Somewhat easier to remember (3 months a common timeframe, 2 months is odd, .... half is easier to understand than third). Though, since it used to be different it might be even more confusing

Also, i favored an increase since 2 months is a bit tight, and it won't make finding land any harder since those with large houses keep their accounts refreshed (houses would stay even if it was a 1 month timer).
And correct, the gametime considered is the sum of all characters (including those who you might have deleted).

Thanks to you both for answering.
I think the half/3 months is better and easier to understand.
