So I've gotten my 220 dex my GoC pieces and ill soon have my money for my first relayer deed. But i have no clue what weapon i should level and what should i put on it. Do you guys have any guidelines for first relayer newbs like me to follow?
My other question is about a composite bow i looted.
14 hci
46 magic arrow
46 energy area
46 life leech
46 hit lower defense
I dont know what to do with it. I know magic arrow is good for yumi's but the area affect makes me wanna use it for a 2arhammer. I thought about adding Hit lighting/Poison area and mana leech if it was a war hammer or Lighting/Fireball/mana leech if it becomes and yumi But i dont know which suits its best. Another idea would be to sell it w/o doing either but how much is it worth?

The energy area and life leech makes me think this is not suited as a yumi, Life leech and Area arent very good Yumi attributes in my opinion. Lightning, Mana Leech would make this a great War Hammer or Double Axe. Both have WW and still would be fine for single targeting down bigger guys with the Crushing Blow or Double Strike.

Well for your first sep relayer spend some time looking around for the perfect weapon. You mentioned that you have a Double Axe, and you are considering making that bow into a war hammer, thats great! If you need a good Yumi consider everything!
Ideally you want any weapon you can changeover into something like a double axe, War hammer, Hally etc, for fast leveling.
Now, as for stats, here is what you ideally want, you want a 3x58 which you can make into a 5x60 or a 4x46 which you can make into a 6x50 - or a 5x50 with some other goodies on it
The main things you want on your Yumi are Hit spell, you want hit fireball or lightening (Harm is not a great spell for a yumi as its damage is dealt by the distance the target is from you, bow = not great) Magic arrow, is acceptable, but its no hit fireball or lightening.
The next thing you want, Hit lower defense, excellent (read that in a Mr. Burns voice, from the simpsons) This can amplify the damage you deal.
The last thing that I prefer is hit mana leech, you can top up stamina, you can heal your health, but if you get into the thick of it and are armor pierce/double shotting everything, mana might be an issue eventually.
After that, its all about hit spells, Somewhere on these forums is a weapon leveling sheet, that helps you plan out your points, I find that to be most helpful. I can actually plan you the weapon I'm looking at before I buy it, so I know if it is something I want or not.

For my First relayer i was considering a pixie swatter since making this post. Since ill have a new Warhammer. Its Cheap it has an area effect. * Which will hopefully help my sanity after leveling this warhammer.* It has Swing speed so when i want to take off this headband of power and switch to a spirit of the totem I wont be missing that SSI. Other than SSI DI SDI STR/DEX/INT idk what to put on it.
On The Yumi topic. Looks like ill keep looking for a weapon to level up tbut those tips help alot.

Bear this in mind, as you play longer, you will eventually have multiple weapons
- Ranged single target (no area) (generally a Yumi)
- Whirlwind weapon
- high damage single target weapon (meele)
- PVP weapon or 2
- optional, good for champs and doom gauntlet GROUP runs..., ranged massive area weapon, I have 1 with 3x50 area hits on it.
usually considered to be perfect hits:
Mana Leech
Lower Defense
Either: Fireball or Lightening
