Storage Wars UO

Post by apocalypse »

What if.... instead of when a house drops, and all the items go to waste, you threw it all into a moving crate, and auctioned it off like on the show storage wars.
Don't know what your going to get, could be anything, maybe show a snapshot of the pile inside the box, so maybe you could see a couple items, like looking into a storage container.
Just thought it might be a good way to save maybe rare deco items etc. from being lost forever, and also would probably turn into a large gold sink as well.
Yah EH?

We have discussed this idea at length over the years, but it isn't something we've really wanted to do. It might happen someday, but not in the foreseeable future. We have too many other things on our plate :)

In the sphere world the houses that where about to be nuked, during a week had the plank turned red to announce the nuke, if no owner changed that the house would go into auction, this was fun, since the economy wasn't so separated and everyone was pvping over a house xD and dead people couldn't bid (which was nice in a pk server). It created some cool guild wars over brick houses. But the house nuke and the item decaying help the server reduce item count , and storing it all would not be help this.

the only problem I see in this system is the fact that if no one finds the house memories are lost forever ...
