So I bought a bulletin board expecting to make use of it for my guild but it seems that its only deco? Is there a specific reason for this?

Can't... I drop on the wall and only options are to Lock down or nothing. If I do I wish to secure this it locks it but no options for security level come up and when I try to use it "Your not allowed to access this." And yes trying in my own house

Hmm weird. We have a BB in our guild house, it has a set security option on it and it has been used to post numerous messages over the years. I'll try and place another BB at my place when I get home see if I can add any additional tips.
