i have to tame skittering hoppers and went to malas and nothing is in the forests there ?
there should be other wild life but no nothing is that normal ?

Malas is a housing not hunting area. Try asking in global where hoppers are at or perhaps u can check the wiki. Either way happy hunting. God speed

Magda is the housing facet, it is an unpopulated copy of Malas.

As for where the skittering hoppers are, I don' t know.

You can find Skittering Hoppers in the crystal forests in Malas. From a world teleporter, go to Malas -> Orc Fort 3. Run around in the forests to the east or west for a bit and you'll find some.

I tend to find a few directly south of Luna proper...i keep telling them to get out of my yard but they don't listen.

if malas is housing only why they give quests that must tame skittering hoppers ?
since they are malas only ?

As posted already by Melkor Malas is populated. Magda is unpopulated.

There are something like six single-animal skittering hopper spawns, all in Malas. More than Unicorns and Kirin but spread more sparsely. Find one of the rune libraries, recall to the location they identify as containing skittering hoppers and wander wide. They're there but it takes a -long- time to get near level 30's for breeding.
