Weird. My houses all say zero, even the public one that's been at Britain moongate since 2014. What counts as a visit?
Yeah, same. How does one get a "Visit"?

Hrmm not sure - I thought anytime someone crossed your threshold it was a visit! House has been in same spot for over 10 years and is still getting visits so I don't know why anyones house would show 0 ?

i have 5 house plots in malas luna im using as a small museum and they have a spot on the world teleporter shops portal. there hasnt been a stampede of visitors but i do occasionally see a visitor there and yet all five house signs show zero visitors. my tokumo houses show zero visitors although set to private i have friended people there and they have visited. my trammel homes all show visitors except for a rental that has always been private and no friends have visited. id say only trammel houses record visitors but arrows library is in malas so im stumped on how visitors are counted.

Re: house visits. Apparently the counter gets incremented every time someone opens the front door, so this probably only works on classic houses, and also it gets reset when the server resets.

I was just loading a backup from 2009 and saw an older version of me. Man was I fabulous :)

Also, a wide screenshot of the Town Center from September 2008.
(I think the town center was built either late 2006 or maybe 2007. It got the back row upgrade sometime in late 2008.)

Very stylish +C... I recall the deer helm/shepherd's crook combo, before you took a shine to the floppy hat... Interesting to see the old TC, thanks for the SSs

Wow. So many empty vendor seats. What was the population then?

Bear in mind that the TC vendor funding structure is a relatively recent thing. At the time of that picture, TC vendors were like vendors anywhere else. With a completely egalitarian vendor structure, there were thriving vendor houses instead of a focus at TC.

Hrmmm reason I thought threshold was because I never had a door leading to the rune library - I had a door leading to chests on 1st floor, perhaps I had a lot of peepers (125k :? :? :? )

+C also said it resets when the server is rebooted. 125k visits in the last 72 days?

Now that I think about it, C+ was the one who placed that house for me many moons ago so maybe that has something to do with the apparent special properties!

Oh, correction - the value is saved across restarts.

We just had a record uptime of 115 days and 20 hours.

Like anything in life, this has good and bad implications. The bad is that, new content and fixes usually require restarts so that means there was no development during this time. The good is that, the server is really stable and has survived lag-free for almost 4 months, the saves remained at about 3.5 seconds. The only thing is that the memory usage has swelled to 78 GB, and along with other services that run on the server, this has come close to filling up all the 128 GB of RAM.

And UOGateway has suffered a data loss at the start of the year, so our uptime shows as 99.99 which is really hard to achieve :)

After a few minutes, it's already down to "Up: 99.98%"

When I was little and spending summer vacation at my grandma's, there were a few paintings in the house. The days were long and sometimes I was just going around the house, observing... and sometimes for an extended moment, it felt like I was in the painting.

In my uncle's room, there was a painting of a ship on rough seas. Pretty much like this scene from the Chronicles of Narnia.

Today I was just sitting on the shore and there was a dog walking nearby. This game can also be very immersive.

This style of magnification can be done with the Windows Magnifier tool set to 400%
