Trying to Join Server...?

Hey there, me and my friend are trying to joint his server and try playing it, But Neither one of us can download the files to get started. On the main page we click on Get Started on the main page, but it loads a page with this error " [phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /home3/uoex/public_html/index.php on line 70: Invalid argument supplied for foreach()" and it loads the rules Section but there is no text or links and none of the other Sub links at the top do anything?

Can't seem to figure it out...

Hey guys, yeah it seems like the webpage isn't working. I'm not staff but just wanted to give you the heads up that its not just you guys. I'm sure one the staff members will get it on quick for ya. issue just spotted and fixed, you can go to the uoex.net/startup page now. And welcome!

webpage now loads to the download links.

But the Excelsior Prepatched Client - version 12 (via FTP) link does not work..
even when right clicking and saving link as...

error says 425 can't open data connection for connection or something like that..

expatcher seemed to download 33.5 kb?

or can i just use this classic client installation and full patch from another server then just run your patcher?

No the client we use here is a customized client We don't support the newer clients at all.

I just downloaded the full client

That is the direct link.

After installing I would also download and run the patcher as it will make sure your files stay up to date with any client updates that the staff push.

That first link doesn't work in FireFox or Internet Explorer....is it hosted any where else?

Well anyways i just downloaded Classic Client version of UO From this other server, ran the UOpatch let it fully patch, took a good hour.
Then Ran this sites updater patch profile in that directory, and after another hour just logged in and started playing. PRoblem solved I guess..

I also just wanted to share, i just copied the entire directory over to my Girlfriends laptop, and set her up, and used that [account command. So in case the staff are watching there will be the Two of us playing from time to time on the same IP, either MINE, which we are using now for the rest of the night , or possibly her's. But Yea we are very very BOTH impressed with this server after a couple hours. I believe we have both found a new home.

Prop's to the Staff of this server, this is as one guy put it a very well coded server. Anyways, thanks for the replies guys, have fun playing, see you in game.
