Hey folks. I'm an old vet of the game, quit back in 2001. Started here today and trying to get this razor business running but not having any luck.
I downloaded the razor from the main razor website and then went in to the UOex folder to the howtrazor and used the appropriate registry key changes. When I use Razor to start up, I have it set to the location of the 2d client, the server/shard info is the uoex info and port 60. When I put in my account details it just stalls and hangs at verifying account. I can't get past that. If I start the game without razor, I can get in fine. Any info/assistance?

I finally came to the realization I was using the wrong razor client. I had installed the 1.0.0 client instead of the newest all in one client.

Double check your settings:
Load Client - 2D (auto Detect)
Patch Client Encryption - is checked
Use OSI Encryption - is NOT checked
UO Data Directory - (Auto Detect)
Server - shard.uoex.net
Port - 60
On a side note make sure you have downloaded the correct Razor Client.
