About last July or August I last played then, my computer died. Since then I haven't been able to play Ultima Online. And now within a month or two I should be getting a new computer.

But I forgot my game account name is there anyway I can find this out?

I must be spoiled. A few weeks ago I bought a 4-gig Dell D830 at a local thrift store for $5. I did have to spend another $20 on a new battery but even so.

If you told me you couldn't afford Internet service for a while, I'd get it. But how can anyone not afford a computer these days?

If you have forgotten your password, go to http://uoex.net/resetpassword

Though, not everyone has entered their email into the [account menu, so for those cases it's still possible to recover it manually via email.

Just a note about account deletion and recovery. This page here has information about how long an inactive account is kept: http://uoex.net/codex/accounting

Right now, the decay timers are actually much longer (but this isn't something you can rely on in the long run). Basically, we keep accounts for longer, based on how much server resources allow it. I've made lots of infrastructural improvements to prevent the game from lagging due to lots of accounts/items/objects in the game, though it can't go for ever.
Anyway, what I was trying to say: even if it's been years since you last logged in, it's likely that your account still exists.
