"Hooked on Excelsior" Fishing Contest RESULTS

I'd first like to thank EVERYONE that participated in this event. There was a great turnout, and several people that went fishing for the first time, just to be a part of it.

Secondly, I want to thank EVERYONE that donated prize items, and gold to the prize pool.

The following are the results of the Fishing Contest for March 2020. As most of us know, a 200 stone fish is the MAX size available for a "Big Fish" on this server. And I was truly surprised at how many 200 Stone fishes were pulled up during this event. As I said from the very beginning, in the event of a Tie, the fish caught EARLIEST in the month would be the winner.

Almost 2 weeks of fishing to finally get that dang 200 and this is what I get

Anyhoo, after I caught it I decided to continue till yesterday. If anyone's interested in what doing basically nothing but fishing for almost a full month can get you (I started either on the 3rd or the 4th and stopped on the 31st; fished for several hours every day - in Tram, in case that makes a difference), here it is:

• - 579 Big Fish, including only two 200s (this is the only precise stat I know because I didn't mix them with my pre-existing stuff)
  - 800-ish t-maps
  - 800-ish waterstained SOSs
  - 30-ish ancient SOSs
  - 800-ish fishing nets
  - 10-ish colored fishing nets
  - 250k-ish raw fish steaks
  - 1000-1500 white pearls (hard to tell, I sold some in the mean time)

Other stuff looted from sea serpents and deep sea serpents - no idea, I trashed everything. They drop junk-tier items not even a noob would want to use, druid scrolls, sometimes sulfurous ash and black pearls (really low amounts, I got maybe 2k of each in total, probably less). Not much gold as well. Oh, and I think I got somewhere around 60-70k weapon exp lol.

Ah, I was only two days from 1st! This was my very first event I've ever got to participate in, and it was a lot of fun! It just so happens that the fish I caught was my achievement fish - first @ 200! I'm definitely putting it up on the wall in my home.

I have no idea what it is I won (I mean I read it but no idea what it is/does) but should be fun finding out!
