RBG & Culichi would like to invite you to The BOD Swap n Shop Event, Saturday, January 23rd starting at 11 am CST or 15:00 shard time.
It will be held at the RBG Event Center. A World Teleporter will be set up for the duration of the event. This is an ongoing event for one week, with the following activities planned.

Saturday 1-23 11:00 AM Central/ 1700 shard time
• BOD Swap n Shop kicks off with a Meet n Greet,
Let’s talk, trade, buy and sell BODs!
• There will be vets on hand to help answer any BOD questions.
• Vendors with BOD related items only will be available all week.
• Door prizes – Must be present to win!
Throughout the week, we will be giving away some crafting (not taming) BOD books that are full of FILLED small BODs.
These are mostly “junk” BODs that you can turn in to an NPC, one after the next, with no cool down in between.
Also, some Ancient Smithy Hammers, and who knows what else!
• Door prize drawing at 12PM CST/1800 Shard time.

AFTER PARTY! Culichi is hosting an After Party after the trophy presentations!

The Event will be on the World Teleporter all week, and we encourage you to come and hang out at the RBG Event Center anytime during the week to meet up and swap BOD’s or check out the BOD vendors.

There will be a limited number of free vendor spots available with BOD related ONLY items. If you are interested in setting up a BOD vendor for the event, please PM Sinja BEFORE 1-21. Vendors will need to have BOD related items only. This can (and is encouraged to) have BODs for sale or Trade, Other items could be BOD rewards, skill clothing, resources, high use tools, books listing BODs you are looking for, etc.
There will be custom trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd best vendors. Judged on appearance, organization, stock, price and theme. Vendor set up begins 1/21 and must be removed by 2/3.

we need more people to place vendors for this event please pm sinja, praise or myself to place your vendor. the vendors can sell bods, bod rewards or any of the resources used to fill the bods. you can also stock un-priced bods that you have available to trade for bods that you do need.
this event will be a great opportunity to connect with other players that do bods and are looking for other players interested in trading bods more regularly. those of you that have no interest in bods but would be interested in finding customers for their ingots, boards or leather will also profit from taking part in this event.
event doesnt open until the 23rd and thats when all the vendors will be stocked. event will last a full week closing on the 30th. there will be many cool prizes for participant and 3 unique trophies from the trinsic player event stone that will be given to the three best vendors. vendors will be judged on everything including costume, restocking, organization and whatever else occurs to the judges
when the event closes on the 30th there will be an afterparty at a secret location and everyone on the server is invited to attend and will receive a player event participation reward.

*** i know things are slow lately but please make an effort to participate or just attend the event its very discouraging when player events are ignored and will only lead to less events being planned.

But it didn't work for me. Bad timing assumptions. The attached modified version doesn't fix the bug but it has somewhat more relaxed timings that may work for you if the original does not.

This week I am looking to swap 500 small bods of either Taming or Blacksmithy for a Fletching Bod book of 500 small bods. PM Snydly if interested.

Special thanks to culichi for his insight, prizes and of course the AFTER PARTY!! And to RBG members who worked behind the scenes to make it happen.

There has been some requests that we do this again or make it permanent.
It is very possible that we will do the event again in the future, but I am sorry to report that it will not be a permanent BOD Swap n Shop, as RBG has some other events in mind soon.
But I would encourage anyone to set one up on a permanent basis. I think you'd be surprised. And I would be happy to help in any way I can.

(just a reminder that all vendors need to be removed by Tues 2/2)
