Forum Theme

Post by +Colibri »

The forum needs to be upgraded for server compatibility (and security), the current theme will probably not be compatible, so i was thinking:

This:
https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/style/1982/demo/3.2

Or this?
https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/style/1996/demo/3.2

And if anyone wants to take this opportunity to remind that we don't have a discord server... this is a game from the 90's... What is this "discord" that you are talking about. It's something from the future? Be you a witch, for thou can see-eth the future? :D

I really like the lack of pixels in the first one, however can we get the bears from the second one on the first?

The starry background would fit right in with the shard as well.

If you are looking for a new website template, you could always use my favorite soda store or computer store as inspiration: https://soda-emporium.com/

Did someone fake +C's account and is messing with us? heheh.. j/k
The readability is pretty sketchy with em..
..eye juice pain.. like egg cookin on a car hood.. heeeh
They're definitely cool for something.. Maybe certain areas? I dunno
Maybe there is a matching template for/to vendors.uoex that brings it together more...
Something hinting at the "feel" of the shard or its hues?
I picture silver, black, and an "ice-ish" blue or green... But don't ask me why..
The doctor examines me and I ask him, "Level with me Doc... How long do I have?"
He looks me straight in the eye and says... "Five."
"Five WHAT?", I ask...
He looks at his watch and says "...four."

I'll go with something that's similar to the website and current style, so that's white background with greyish tones, and maybe blue for things that stand out.

Soda emporium and yvette's... hmm, needs more comic sans.
