Looking for someone to make this Treasure Map Book. My skills are too low to be successful.
Will trade all ingredients for one you already have made, or buy yours.

I'm curious what the book does - does it just hold a bunch of maps like a BOD book? If so I may need to make one.

I could probably attempt crafting it.

Inscription: 120
Tracking: 120
Cartography: 111.6

Not sure if it's a 100% chance to craft though with those skills as a lot of the harder crafts I've seen can fail even at max.

It sorts by facet,map level,and coords.
Very handy to have.
When I made mine,I was at 120 on all 3 skills.
It seems like it was a 60%+ chance then.

Welp, I'm pretty furious with this game right now. Months of buying up treasure maps trying to work up to an infernal and so many hours I've lost count trying to get an Ancient SOS RNG proc out of like 60 SoS bottles and then...


Why the absolute F*** is such a massive grind locked behind an RNG that just says "lol do it again b***h". I hate this design mentality so much. (Queue the "That's UO" apologists.)

Would well have been worth getting skills up high enough for 100% success rate on such an elite item, any chance of failure on such a craft is too risky really

You can't get it to 100%, apparently. Someone earlier was mentioning 120 all skills and they still didn't have 100%.

I tried making 3 of them before. Got 2/3 successfully.

Edit: image updated now showing skills needed to reach 100% crafting chance.

Let me guess.. you need 120 skill in all three PLUS some +5 pieces in each skill. Am I close?

Just 120 Cartography/Inscription/Tracking without any additional gear.

P.S.: I've updated the image in my previous post.

you need 120 on all and as much +5 gear to get to 100%. the gear lasts for along time if you only use it to make books. my cartography was little over 100 all others 120 and i still had a terrible fail rate.

Does anyone with 120 Insc/Cart/Track can confirm what I said previously? Because if only my char can craft at 100% chance without any additional gear then it can be some kind of bug.

EDIT: ...or I'm missing something.
