Reflect Physical Damage Questions
Reflect Physical Damage Questions
Looking for input on how to set up a character to use RPD. What should I know? Should I get my physical resist down to 0? How many hit points should I have as a minimum before trying? What is the minimum RPD % I should have before attempting this? Any suggestion on how to use this feature effectively would be appreciated.

Re: Reflect Physical Damage Questions
I'm not at the level where I can use it reliably, but you'll want to max RPD on all re-layers you work on if nothing else, then to maximize resale value later.
You can fiddle with your physical resistance to a place where you can comfortably keep yourself bandaged without worrying about dying - ideally you'd want 220 Dex for insta-bandage.
As you get more HP as a buffer, you can slowly reduce your physical resist or cast Protection on yourself to drop it lower.
I doubt you'd want phys resist at 0 unless you have a crazy amount of HP and aren't going up against anything too crazy. You could do that though and swap in some Spirit of Totems for extra resist as needed, or have a weapon with phys resist you can throw on when fighting tougher stuff.

Re: Reflect Physical Damage Questions
Thanks for the feedback. I seem to have a lot of what you mention. RPD is 165%. 220 Dex is done. My HP are 446. By base physical resist is 40 due to Spell Resist Skill being at 100%. I'm debating on redoing some relayers to eliminate my physical resist on all of them. Right now I'm at the cap of 70 due to the items. So I'm wondering if that's a good idea at this stage. New relayers can be expensive!!Eremite wrote: ↑Tue Sep 26, 2023 11:11 amI'm not at the level where I can use it reliably, but you'll want to max RPD on all re-layers you work on if nothing else, then to maximize resale value later.

Re: Reflect Physical Damage Questions
I'm at 267 rpd
600 hit points
35 phys resist
works great for me. regular reflects of 200 to 300 and on harder mobs I've reflected 900+
I find it a great build and fun to play
