if you go up stares in the casle on the top west side of the casle there is a red bok buy a red book on a stand.

get a book and right your name in it the put how much you bid then i will put it on this form telling you if you are top bider

For the record, I won the auction for the castle, and I've taken possession of it today. My winning bid was 3 mil.

Yes, I know that's a lot to pay, but I liked it, and what good is gold if you can't get things you like with it?

I think it's a really good price considering the bare castle itself already costs close to a million. Then if you count the number of 100k gold Carpet Deeds in the place and the quality of the deco, I'd say you came out a clear winner in that deal.

I didn't mind paying that price at all. I'm pretty pleased. It's the first castle I've owned in many years of playing UO. The decoration is modest but tasteful, which suits me very well.

I've put in some teles with the help of Prince Philip, and it's even nicer now. I've got the roof happening, which is great.

I guess this brings me full circle, since my first house in UO was a small tower on ice island many years ago on GL. I probably paid 2 mil for that at the time, and gold was much harder to come by I have to admit that ice island was more interesting on GL back then, though, with people often dying on my doorstep while they were visiting my vendors ... but this is still very nice.
